Meet Heather

Heather Sullivan, Founder and Owner of Heather’s Baking Co., started designing and decorating cakes as a pastime when she was 20 years old.  Her neighborhood Hobby Lobby offered cake decorating courses, and Heather quickly learned she had a knack for creating beautiful and unique cakes.  She enrolled in the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Austin, Texas to establish a solid foundation to further her skills as a pastry chef and artist.  Upon graduation, Mrs. Sullivan was hired by Amy’s Ice Cream to lead the Ice Cream Cake department where she learned how to manage a creative staff and produce cakes at a high volume. Heather now resides in Grapevine, Texas with her husband, Patrick.  She hopes Heather’s Baking Co. will grow into a successful business that provides high quality cakes to the DFW area.

Reviews

" I ordered  Valentines cookies for my daughter and they were a huge hit! Heather was amazing and gave me many different options and ideas.  I was over satisfied with my order and so was my little girl. They looked like a piece of art that I would never be able to create myself.  I will definitely order more cookies and cakes from Heather. HBC is now one of my to go places for all celebrations for sure. I highly recommend Heather's Baking Co to all my friends and family!"

"Amazing! We hired Heather to make our wedding cake.  She created something more beautiful than we could have imagined.  Several of our wedding guests commented on how pretty the cake was and were amazed by how great it tasted, too.  From the initial cake tasting, to cutting the cake in front of all of our loved ones, Heather made the entire process, fun, stress-free, and a dream come true."
